It is better for you and your roommate to maintain separate social lives apart from one another. Even if both of you become close friends, some things are better to be kept in private.


Financial Responsibility



Money matters and paying bills is the main cause of roommate problems. Make sure to pay your portion of the rent or supply bill on time every month. Money-related arguments can lead to serious problems. To make such things easier draw a roommate agreement. 


Indoor Smoking


Check with your roommate if you can smoke indoors. It not only triggers an allergic reaction but also discolors white items in the room. So it is best recommended to smoke outside.


Clean Up After Yourself
