Crossing cultural barriers with roommates comes handy with times. It doesn’t work the same way with “rental scams”. Nigerian prince is always up to it, no matter if you’re an Asian or Caucasian. Looking our Indian roommates has its pros and cons.

How would you spot a scam?


These ardent love letters are always sent from the gentlemen, who’re out of the country on a mission.



Sometimes, craigslist claim that they’re sent by Sulekha. But never ever trust them because they urge the users to provide their personal information.


Too early to get personal…nah!


It seems that they’re madly in love with your bank account.



Even before you meet them in person, you’ll be directed to transfer funds via MoneyGram, Ukash and Western Union.
