Hi everyone,
I am looking to sublet a large private room in a 3 bed 2 bath apartment in Long Island City (queens) starting this June. The lease expires this October and can be potentially extended. The other two rooms are occupied by two recent graduates from NYU.
The building is newly constructed and includes all-building WiFi, rooftop with a stellar view of midtown Manhattan, a community work space, gym, laundry unit, and a courtyard. The nearest subway line includes N and W (5 minute walk), F (10 minutes walk), 7 (10 minutes walk), and E, M and R (12 minute walk). There are multiple restaurants at walking distance including local Pizza shop, Thai place, subway, Dunkin Donut, and Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants. Key foods and a 24 hour Trade Fair super market are at a walk-able length.
The approximate door to door travel time to Grand Central is 20 minutes, to Times Square is about 20 minutes and to union square is about 30-35 minutes.
The apartment is partly furnished with oven, microwave, dishwasher and freeze installed in the kitchen. There is a dining table in the unit. The room has a closet, a queen sized bed and a couple of racks. I am expecting a monthly rent of 1400.
