Living with opposite sex flatmates – A case of comfort or blunder?

  • Link Copied

I got a text last night. It read, “Is it a sin to live with opposite-sex flatmates?” Spare the label, ‘blasphemy’. I would like to nail it. It’s a case of comfort or turning the tables. I share my flat with blokes. I didn’t find it awkward. Why not? They were cultured, sported something called ‘chivalry’, good at cleaning, and on top of that I wasn’t judged!

We just made a few adjustments to turn the tide. Of course, it’s where ‘we’ gets the concern than ‘I’!

We accepted that our habits could be changed a bit. Of course, I missed the luxury of being ‘naturally me’, walking around in lingerie.

At times, I give it a thought, laughing to myself, ‘HOW much I MISS?’

Besides, all guys aren’t heartless slobs!

They leave the kitchen counters spick and span, every time they cook.

Ha ha ha…! Laws of attraction, we can’t help it…I don’t find “it as a sin to date my flatmateBatting eyes!  We communicated with each other. One of them told that his girlfriend would drop in quite often.

That goes on…after all, why not respect their privacy?

A bit of flexibilityGimme Five warmth and chivalry!

Having a flatmate of opposite sex is a perk!
