Upper West side makes commute easier

Wayne Gerard didn’t know its coming. He moved to Astoria thinking that he wouldn’t have to do much about transport. A town, where a spacious one-bedroom demanded $1,775 per month in spite of poor kitchen storage, he had to nod to it.

He had no way out, apart from nodding to it. Instead of jumping into a den, it’s better to find one’s way into the cave.

“I didn’t realize the commute was going to bother me as much as it did,” says Wayne.

Traveling to West 34^th Street in Manhattan looked like a journey to eternity. Dana Feinberg, his girlfriend was already residing in Astoria sharing space with her roommates. For both of them commuting was a barrier standing tall and inevitable.

“I am the queen of efficiency, and that sounded like a horrible idea,” says Ms.Porpora, another renter in the town.

She also adds, “As long as we had a kitchen and a bathroom, we were really open.”

Single family housing is a crisis and fat figures doesn’t brush the renters aside. If someone is too calculative, they’d get that the money that’s put in transport is no lesser than spending on accommodation.

Alas, they found Upper West Side a better choice.

Most of the renters find it better to pay approximately about $3,000 duly out of traveling.
