5 Must-Have Apps To Make Roommates’ Lives Easier – 2

  • Link Copied

Prologue: In my last post I started with 5 must-have apps to make roommates’ lives easier. I’m just going to do the talking like I did before. It’s about the rest of the apps that saved the pain the of walking the “hall of shame”--Those awry moments when you don’t find any more paper rolls (if you’re used to ‘paper’ culture) or hand sanitizer! Especially, dividing chores between housemates become easier with such “apps”. It’s not just Venmo, but some more roommate apps to save our reputation as a “nice roommate.”

HomeSlice

Most of us from Asia cringe our nose towards using paper roll! But the thought of winter abroad is way too awful that comes along with cold toilet seats!

HomeSlice is one such app for roommate that lifts awkwardness.

It might be your roommates’ turn to clean the toilet seats & bath tubs. Just assign them virtually! You don’t have to be dorky to get away with the awkwardness, when you remind them in person!

It’s a handy app, where you’re going to find a white board, a chore grid and a supply chart.  What else could make it better?

Sometimes I use it to scrawl a “quick message” like “I’m flopping around bookcorner. I’ll get the bathroom cleaned, once I’m back.”

Voxer

I just LMAO with this magical roommate app – I just keep “sending voice memos” on the move. On top of that, I don’t have to repeat my voice messages over and over.

Whenever my colleague puts on airs, I just send a voice memo, “The twerp next to me can't STFU!"

By the way, these “roommate apps are the must”. They can be downloaded in all the smartphones.

Wait! I just want you to take it slow. I’ll be back with a couple of roommate apps in the final part of this post.
